15 of September 2018, Mykolaiv, at 198thTraining Center of Ukrainian Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the solemn opening of The Training Ground for Survivability took place. It was designed and manufactured by State Research & Design Shipbuilding Centre (SRDSC).
SRDSC exhibited its projects at the V International Exhibition of Weapons Systems and Military Equipment «КАDEX-2018», 23-26 May, Astana, Kazakhstan.
The joint presentation of modernization project of Bars-class ship was showed for Kazakhstan Navy Command during the exhibition. The meeting was held with the participation of Serhiy Omelchenko, First Deputy Director General of SC “UKROBORONPROM”, representatives of SC “UKRSPECEXPORT”, JSK “Uralsk Plant “Zenit” and European suppliers of naval equipments.
In 2017 according to the Company Rules, SRDSC began one more activity direction – production activity. It provides activities in construction of new war and civil ships, modernization and maintenance of current units. There is a possibility, if necessary, of reclassification and renovation services for operated ships. All above mentioned works are supported by appropriate design services.
Traditionally, State Research and Design Shipbuilding Centre is a participant of the International Exhibition «Arms and Security». This year the exhibition was held from 10 to 13 October at the International Exhibition Center (Kyiv, Ukraine). SRDSC was presented at the joint exposition of the State Concern “UkrOboronProm” among 47 other Concern’s companies.
State Research & Design Shipbuilding Centre took part in the XXIII International exhibition «Shipbuilding -2017» and the XV specialized exhibition «Water transport» (24-26 May 2017, Mykolaiv, Ukraine) which took place at the area of the shipbuilding & repair yard “NIBULON”.
Each of us chooses a career to dedicate a life and to direct the energies and a talent to it, as well as chooses the place where spends most of time. They like their job, go there gladly and back home proudly.
It is deservedly when such dedicated employees are valued and awarded; many highly skilled specialists work at State Research & Design Shipbuilding Centre. They devote big part of their life to designing of surface warships and crafts.
Oleksandr Zholob, Director of SRDSC, who is “old-timer” of its team too, awarded in state 20 employers of SRDSC, who have continuity of employment at the Centre 40 and more years. They have received the honorary diplomas for many years of fruitful work, professionalism, weighty personal contribution to the development of domestic shipbuilding and creation of new types of warships.
During IDEX-2017 (19-23 February, Abu Dhabi, UAE), State Research & Design Shipbuilding Centre presented its next-generation projects and held number of meetings and negotiations with representatives of key world companies of naval combat systems and technical equipment.
SRDSC has reaffirmed the conformity of its Quality Management System to the standard ISO 9001.
